This marvellous achievement was a real labour of love and Mikael's help was invaluable during my Pfalz's creation.

Following on from Aviattic's much-loved Ansaldo Balilla aircraft and Marienfelde lorry kits (which are now collectors items!) and six years in design and planning, the Pfalz DVIII is out of the hangar and ready for take-off!
Following that proud lineage, this kit takes WW1 aviation model-making to the next level, with state-of-the-art 3-D printing, casting methods, our ground-breaking digitally printed 'lozenge' decals and Aviattic's attention to detail unsurpassed. I have pulled out all the stops for this one!..

I thought the Ansaldo kit was a treasure, but the Pfalz exceeds even that.
If anyone has any doubts as to the cost of such models, quality control, delays in release, research, detail and presentation, just look in the kit box.
The kit parts, photo-etch, decals, figure, instruction manual, 3D printed parts etc are of the best it’s possible to achieve.

My kit arrived this morning and on first lifting the lid of the beautifully decorated box my breath was taken away by the sight of the very high quality of all the elements of this kit. From the instruction manual and decals to the cast, 3D printed and etched components excellence prevails.
Over the years I have built many top quality kits of ships, locomotives and cars but this Pflaz kit beats them all for professional quality, thank you Richard.

Received my copy of the Pfalz safely today, Richard. A huge thank you and many congratulations on getting this one over the line.

I am blown away by the first impressions, but have to admit that I have not examined everything in detail yet for fear of not being able to get all the elements back in the box!

Just had a quick look through the box and felt compelled to say what a jewel of a kit you’ve produced and how beautifully presented the whole package is. I honestly can’t imagine how any company could improve on your work so I hope it gets the exposure and sales that it deserves.

This is easily one of the - no, possibly the best quality kit I've ever had the pleasure to handle, excelling in every aspect.

The instruction booklet was a real bonus! I wasn’t expecting it to be such a solid item with all the beautiful profiles. Superb.
The quality of the resin finish on the wings and fuselage is quite exceptional. I’ve never seen a finish like it.
Decals, of course, excellent as always. I could go on.!

I just received my Pfalz kits, and what can I say? Absolutely magnificent! I haven't yet gotten down to examining every part in minute detail, but what I have seen so far is stunning! The best multi-media kit that I have ever seen, and I very much appreciate how well protected the 3D printed parts are. The instruction manual is also the best that I have ever seen. These kits were well worth the wait, and the price paid for them! Well done!
Destined to become a collectors item as well, even though it is screaming to be built.

Lid off the box and both corners of my mouth start to turn outwards. Big grin.
The decals, the building plan, the A3 poster, the resin parts (!) ..... and of course the rest, such as the photo-etched parts and 3D printed parts, are absolutely amazing.
Excellent idea of padding the cardboard base and taping the wafer-thin wings to it.
All this, the excellent quality parts and the secure packaging make it easy to understand the immense amount of cost, time and passion that went into this kit.
My reservations about resin models have been blown away since opening the box.
Even the Aviattic kit of the Ansaldo Ballilla was - a few years ago - a feast for the eyes.
In a nutshell: You all have done an excellent job!

My Pfalz DVIII 'Pour le Mérite' kit arrived!
First impression: MIND BLOWN !!!! What an amazing multimedia kit, I've never seen anything like it.
- Cast pieces look fantastic, hardly ANY cleanup needed, fantastic details.
- 3D printed parts are next level 3D printed in my eyes. I have a hard time with 3D printed parts when they are not perfect and you can see stark layer lines or have too brittle resin or get used for the wrong reasons etc. then I think 3D printing is a waste of time and far inferior to traditional casting. On the other hand in this kit the components chosen to print are ideal and the printing quality is honestly the best I have ever seen.
- Decals look great too, the screen printed markings and details and also the two sets of lozenge decals for the fabric covered areas are superbly done.
- Best manual ever contender?! Lovely thick colour booklet with many great reference photos (some not know to me yet) and really well done 3D assembly views. Fantastic marking schemes to choose from, this manual is a real joy!
- The great extras like the lovely resin figure, Pfalz sticker and decals, poster etc. are a great touch, pure joy to open the box, felt like Christmas as a child.
I am so excited to start this build. Also, I think I might have to order another kit for the stash, it's just too good not to have another!
So, as you can see, I am super excited about your Pfalz Kit and want to thank you and all involved in making this happen.
It can be clearly seen how much work, time, love and nerves went in to this, unthinkable.
My highest respect - and in my eyes - absolutely worth the price!

...and the flip side..

While these kits look excellent, the time scale between payment and receipt of goods lead me to think it could be ages before one gets the goods and, based on that, despite the product I would not be prepared to pay £245 and then get my product only when it suited your business.
Buying anything has to be better than this. David Jones (ex-customer!).
