ATT32158 (Clear decal paper) "Le Bourget" Pfalz DXII 5 colour "lozenge" with lilac tapes for Wingnut Wings kit

SKU:

The (presumably) restored machine displayed at Paris' le Bourget museum exhibits slightly different "lozenge" application practices and a darker palette of undersurfaces printed linen. Additional tapes in non-standard positions (top wing centre for example) and in "lilac" - a tape colour used but rarely modelled or discussed.

Sadly, no information about the 40 year old restoration of the Paris collection has been forthcoming and the origins of the Pfalz and Fokker DVII "Tarnstoff" lozenge fabric used on the Parisian exhibits are unknown...for now.
