A warm red/brown as seen on the tails of Jasta 65's OAW Fokker DVII's.
The rather poorly renovated "U10" in the Smithsonian displays a duller, dirty brown - most likely a poorly judged match to a filthy, original finish before we had more understanding of paint and varnish deterioration.
